I am Michael Kovac CPA, CA. I articled and completed my designation in 2001 in Winnipeg at a large national firm. There were many different types of engagements I worked on during this time, it was always the owner-managed based business tax and accoutning I enjoyed the most. Supporting small business and their families and seeing the immediate impact of that work - so rewarding.

I moved to Vancouver in 2002 and began working industry - again with family operated businesses. It was 2009 when I decided to re-enter public practice and start my own firm.

I am what I practice - a small business, and owner-manged based. My experience in my own practice allows me to understand what my clients are experiencing. I relate first hand and have implemented many of the same strategies in my own tax and wealth planning.
